Jon Torerk, CSCS, CES, HFI
Born in Bangkok Thailand and a former NYC resident, Jon Torerk is the CEO and founder of BioMechanix Strength and Conditioning Clinic. He has an extensive background in exercise physiology, kinesiology, strength training, periodization, functional and corrective training, and has been a practicing Strength and Conditioning Coach since 1999. Prior to moving to Los Angeles he was the Assistant Director of Training at a prominent NYC based Sports Medicine Clinic. There he was responsible for the training and supervision of over 115 Exercise Physiologist, Athletic Trainers, and Strength and Conditioning Specialist, as well as assisting in the overall management of 19 Manhattan based facilities.
Jon received a B.S. in Exercise Physiology in 1993 with a concentration in cardiac rehabilitation from the William Paterson University in Wayne New Jersey. He interned in the Cardiac Rehabilitation center at Chilton Memorial Hospital.
In addition to a National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) CSCS designation Jon also holds the following credentials, (ACSM) American College of Sports Medicine HFI certification, (KIEP) Corrective Exercise Specialist, (FMSC) Functional Movement Screen Certified, (FMT) Fascial Movement Taping Certified Rock Doc Level 1 and 2, (KT tape) Whole Body Kinesiology Therapeutic Taping Certification and is a HEAT Protocol Specialist (Hyper Efficient Anatomical Triggering).
Jon is also an Advisory Board member for the Southern California Health Institute (SOCHi).
Outside of work Jon’s hobbies are custom building and riding Down Hill bikes, playing bass guitar, mogul and cliff skiing, snowboarding, surfing, longboard skateboarding, ice hockey, bass fishing and studying wing chun gung fu.

Keelan Sakuda, CES, CPT
Born and raised in Kalaheo, Hawaii, Keelan has his B.S. in Kinesiology and Rehabilitation Sciences from the University of Hawaii at Manoa and is a NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine) Corrective Exercise Specialist and Certified Personal Trainer.
His love of fitness began with competitive basketball and volleyball, with weight training and Olympic lifting being introduced in high school and college, respectively. Ten years of experience in the gym from being the novice to a trainer, has resulted in his deep rooted love for helping clients find their passion for fitness and helping them achieve their best selves. As his background is rooted in the sciences and athletics, Keelan understands both the mechanics of the body as well as the drive and desire it takes to train effectively. With respect to his rehabilitation oriented strength and conditioning education, he firmly believes a solid foundation is key to attaining goals safely and successfully. Keelan develops programs that are specifically tailored to the needs of his clients and implements strength training and functional movement, all with proper technique and form. He enjoys a challenge and enjoys challenging his clients in return.
Keelan is currently studying towards the designation of NSCA (National Strength and Conditioning Association) Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist.
Sanya “Mike” Sornseemachai, NSCA-CPT, CES
Born in Bangkok, Thailand and raised in Los Angeles; Mike is a Certified Personal Trainer through NSCA (National Strength and Condition Association) and a KIEP-Corrective Exercise Specialist. He received a certificate in Fitness Instruction from UCLA Extension in 2014 with emphasis on strength training, functional training and sports nutrition.
He started weight lifting eight years ago for aesthetic reason but it turned out to be something much more. His never-ending quest to acquire knowledge about fitness and nutrition became a part of his life. His favorite sports are Olympic lifting, Muay Thai and snowboarding.
